Renal Care Institute (RCi) is a specialized health center that provides haemodialysis treatments to patients with kidney failure. It was founded by Dr Saleshando in 2009. We are the first and remain the biggest Dialysis provider in Botswana, serving most patients in Southern Botswana from our two units in Gaborone. RCI started operations as a Private Public Partnership project to bring services that were previously not available in the country.

We were able to set up our first unit in the largest government tertiary referral hospital ( Princess Marina Hospital). Starting with one patient and four staff members, we were able to steadily increase patient numbers over the years. We opened our second unit in 2018. We currently have 65 staff members including doctors, Nurses, Clinical technologists, Health care assistants and biomedical technicians. We have touched around 3000 lives over the last 12 years.
